Richard Wainwright Wilson

Richard Wainwright Wilson died of natural causes on October 4th at the home of his son Micheal Wilson. He was born August 4, 1933 in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska the son of William R. Wilson and Lula Elizabeth (Moody) Wilson.

Richard graduated from San Diego High School in 1950. Following High School, he served in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper from 1952 till 1954. After his service, he moved back to San Diego where he married Sue Lemons in 1955. Richard and Sue divorced in 1956 and Richard later married Betty Marks in 1958. Richard and Betty divorced in 1985. Richard then married Fanny Arboleda in 1999.

Richard was a man of many occupations. Most notable was his time at the Nevada Test Site as a radiation monitor. Richard and his friend, Carl Maxwell, formed a vending company named Wilmax in the 70’s.

Richard's father left when he was very young. He had no contact with his father after that. Through DNA Richard's father was tracked down and he found out he had three additional half sisters from his father. Richard was able to talk to one of these sisters (Elizabeth Wilson) when he was in his 80’s.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two half sisters Lavon L Wilson and Eleanor Wilson.

He is survived by his wife Fanny Arboleda of Las Vegas; his brother Ronald Allison of Yorba Linda; his sisters, Donna Allison of Wyoming, Sharon Allison of California, and Elizabeth Wilson of Grants Pass; sons Terry Allison of Akron, Micheal Wilson of Las Vegas, Brian Wilson of Indianapolis, and Daniel Wilson of Las Vegas. Richard had seven grandchildren - Christina Wilson, Jennifer Wilson, Tiffany Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Nick Allison, and Jared Allison. He has nine great-grandchildren - Gabby Cargill, Christabella Cargill, Aidden Rytting, Cayden Cargill, Caylee Cargill, Cash Cargill, Hailey Milligan, Harper

Hollembaek, Everly Plumer, Murphy Allison, Owen Allison, and Conner Allison.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary (7600 S. Eastern Ave 89123). Viewing from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM and Services will be from 8:00 PM till 9:00 PM.
