Riina Carbonell Almanzor, age 72, of Las Vegas, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025 in her home surrounded by love. She was born on December 15, 1952 in Iloilo, Philippines before moving to Chicago, Illinois; Roseville, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco, California before moving to Las Vegas more than 20 year ago.
Mrs. Almanzor worked for Red Rock and Prudential Realty, Realty Executives and Nationwide Realty. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and traveling the world. She played basketball and tennis and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She also played the piano and has taught many friends how to play.
Riina was a devotee of The Mother of Perpetual Help and a member of Workers of St. Joseph.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Pedro and Felicidad Carbonell and siblings: Carlos, Dennis and Myrna.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Vicente Almanzor; brothers: Emmanuel (Esther) and Francis (Marivec) Carbonell; sisters: Carolina (Ernie) Bayan and Perla (Donald) Erickson.
A memorial service will begin at 10am on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, Nevada.
