Mr Cruz was a very positive man. He had a peaceful and happy aura that made me comfortable around him. I’m so glad this was somebody in my life because of the good he brought to me. I don’t know what life would look like if we never crossed paths. I will never forget you 🖤

I am grateful to God for all the life and example that Zaldy has been to many of us. I trust that all the good he did will not only be rewarded by God, but that it will go on living in our hearts and actions as well. May his virtue always be inspiration to each one of us. 
Goodbye, Zaldy. We thank the Lord for the precious gift that you were to us. Thank you very much for all you have done for your family [Julie, Melanie, Andrew & Anthony], relatives, friends, and for God's people. We all love you and will dearly miss you. Till we meet again in that Great Reunion for eternity! [Fr. Boy]

FAMILY - Rizalino "Zaldy" N Cruz the man, commonly known as Zaldy.  I just called him Cruz, sometimes Cruzing in fun.  Cruz  was a family man.  He only wanted the best for his family.  He wanted his wife and children to be secure. He helped to establish businesses, drove his children to and from school and always made sure they had a meal to eat. He wanted to ensure his children had the best opportunity to succeed and become productive citizens in society.

FRIEND - Cruz was a true friend. Our history began when his daughter and my oldest son were in the same school at Cartwright Elementary.  As it turned out we both worked at the Post Office as well.  Over the years our friendship grew.  We looked out for each other and each other's children.  We went fishing and shared many meals together. Cruz was a true friend in every sense of the word and I truly valued our friendship.

FAITH - Indeed Cruz was a man of faith.  There were no religious overtures, but throughout the time I knew him, he always had a high regard and respect for the living God. He attended service regularly and was a man of thanksgiving.  He knew where his blessing came from!    

FREE - Now we know that in his latter years Cruz was faced with various health challenges.  But one thing about these times, he met them all head on with a positive outlook.  He fought each one with the enduring faith that he had in the Almighty God of heaven and earth.  But he doesn’t have to fight anymore, for he is free.  Free from all the pain and sufferings of this world.  I picture him Cruzing upon the clouds with the wind upon his face and a smile that transcends time, Cruzing with the Almighty.  We will all miss him, but his memories will forever live in our hearts.







I’ve known Zaldy since 1987 when we both got hired at the same time at USPS in New Jersey. I remember him then as a funny and friendly guy …I’m always amazed at how he knew everyone at work and how he remembers all their names after all these years. I guess his low key character  and good sense of humor endeared him to a lot of people. 
Zaldy loved music and I will always remember him whenever I hear Ambrosia and Journey playing on the radio. He also enjoyed sports especially basketball… played pickup basketball and skied at the Poconos with him . 
We are so saddened by your passing but I know you are with the Lord my dear friend. May your soul Rest In Peace 🙏. Thank you for all the memories. You will always stay in our heart and  you will surely be missed by everyone that knew you.

Fun memories with Zaldy was, when we gave one of our friends Chester a pulvoron. As soon as he taste it he said Yo’ why you give me sands. Remembering our happy times can’t help myself to smile and cry at the same time. Not a dull moments. It so sad that Zaldy is gone, but he is in good hands now. Kid.. Rest In Peace my brother. 😞😞
