Robert L. Berry

WWII Retired Msgt. Robert L. Berry joined his loving wife Grace on Thursday Jan 29,2015. Robert (Bob) was a career military man who continued to serve his fellow veterans by working with Congress lady Gaby Gifford of Tucson on her Veteran Affairs team. He was proud to be an American and was honored this past Veterans Day where he gave a speech at the VA here in Las Vegas. At 94 Bob was still very active in his community putting on dances for seniors and staying up to date with current Veterans Affairs. Bob was known for his hat and jokes. He had a great influence on those around him and will be truly missed by many. He is survived by his sister Billy Nell Berry of Naples, TX. His three children Linda M. Sears, Robert F. Berry both of Las Vegas and Gracelyn M. Berry of Houston, TX. Grandchildren JC.Berry and Shane Werder both of Las Vegas. Viewing will be held Wednesday, Feb 4th, 2015 from 5-7 pm at Palm Mortuary 7600 S Eastern Avenue with a funeral service at 10:40 am on Thursday Feb 5th at the Veterans Memorial in Boulder City. Reception immediate following at the family’s home.
