To the Coyle family,
As I was driving through Santa Ana Ca. the other day, I passed by the Waste Management office. This brought back memories of Bob and his dear friend Tom Blackman,the good old days in our industry.
I had the pleasure of working with Bob for over a decade.
Bob always made me laugh when we talked.
I miss him greatly.
He was a true friend.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Bob. I’ve known Bob for many years starting  back in the days of the South Orange County Chambers of Commerce. I was happy to reconnect after I moved to LV In 2002 and found out he was with Republic Services. I saw him on several occasions and most recently at Bishop Gorman where our grandsons played flag football. He was personable, engaging and real. He will be missed. My condolences and prayers go out to his family.  I look forward to seeing him on the heavenly golf course, where everyone shoots par or better! I’ll even give him strokes.

Words alone cannot truly convey my sadness in the passing of Bob Coyle.  I was blessed and honored to know Bob and appreciated his mentorship, friendship and the relationship I had with him.
His passion and love for his family was evident every day.  He constantly reminded me of how important those times and values are.  Family first, he would say, and I continue that important quality in my life.
I will miss him and the careful thought, sincerity and guidance he shared with me every time we spoke.

We are so sorry for your loss. Bob was a wonderful gentleman and dear friend of ours for decades. There are very few people that we have worked with over the years that have made a lasting impression on our hearts. Bob was such a person. Regardless of the situation Bob always brought a smile and a positive attitude. He had a special way to make every person in the room feel respected and important. His professional work ethics were unmatched and his shoes in our industry will be impossible to fill.  We are all fortunate to have had Bob Coyle in our lives.

My sincere condolences to the Coyle family. I have so many wonderful memories of Bob while at WM and various social gatherings.

I had worked for WM for 24 years and had the pleasure of working for several amazing men!  One of those men was Bob Coyle!  Bob was an incredible Leader!  He had the respect of everyone; from the drivers, the guys in the shop, the staff in the office, upper management and most of all myself!   Bob had a special gift of connecting with people and gaining their trust.  He taught by example and when he was teaching a group of us in a corporate seminar he made it an interesting and enjoyable experience so everyone was engaged in the exercise while we were absorbing the tools he wanted us to discover to encourage each of us reach our full potential!

Bob was a kind, caring and thoughtful person.  Every Saint Patrick’s Day he would bring in green carnations and hand them out to everyone in the office.  If we were at an off-site meeting location he would round up everyone in the evenings to go out for dinner or tour the city so no one would be left behind alone.  He made sure everyone had a good time! 

Bob has left me with so much knowledge of the industry and people along with so many fond memories.  I am forever grateful that I had the pleasure and privilege of working for and with him!  We have lost a good soul!

Pam and the family will remain in my heart ♥️ and in my prayers 🙏🏼 during this most difficult time!

I am very sad to hear the news of Bob's passing.  He was a great mentor, a friend, a boss, and just a good person. He always took the time to listen and to guide me in the right direction. He will be missed dearly. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time.   

Bob was a great friend for almost 40 years. With both of us spending lots of time in Chicago (he was raised here and I have lived here 40 years), we had a common bond and understanding of how things are done, however, he always knew the best approach. Like many who worked and had the opportunity to socialize with Bob, he was the best at both.  Bob was always sharp, thinking out of the box, a person of action, considerate to all, loyal to his friends and co-workers, and always doing whatever he could to help any and all. He loved being with people and doing deals at the highest ethical standard. I have never met anyone who had a bad thing to say about Bob. He was one of the good guys. He is respected and will be missed dearly by me and many others. Rest in Peace Bob. You deserve a special place in Heaven.

Mr. Coyle was such a good person. He was always listening directly to what was said. He always reached out and helped with a problem when he was ask. I enjoyed working with Mr. Coyle and I am sad to hear that he has passed away.  I would like to send out my Prayers to his family and ask Yahweh to take Mr. Coyle into his arms and comfort him and his family members. He was a GREAT MAN.

I am very saddened by the news of Bob's passing. He was a kind and decent man, thoughtful of others and a friend to all who knew him.  I will miss Bob's insights, his passion for the industry, and his wonderful sense of humor. My heart goes out to Chris and the rest of the Coyle family at this difficult time. 

Bob was a mentor and then a great colleague. He was one of a handful of individuals who placed me on the path in my career leading me to where I am today. 

Most of all Bob was my friend. A friend who took in a stray at Thanksgiving when I first moved to California and had nowhere to go. A friend who let me into his family when mine was two thousand miles away. 

I will forever hold his memories in my heart, memories that will live on in me and in his family. See you down the road, Bob. God speed.
