

A much-loved son, husband, brother, and uncle, Robert Egon Nusser, 76, of Henderson, NV passed away April 28, 2026. Bob was born April 8, 1950 in Irvington, NJ and moved to Union in 1959. He was a member of Loyalty Chapter of the Order of DeMolay and graduated from Union HS in 1968. Bob received a BS/Biology from Rutgers/Newark where he was a member of the
Alpha Delta Mu fraternity. While living in Union, Bob volunteered on the Union Ambulance Squad. He worked at the FDA for about 10 years, and then started and ran his own successful residential real estate appraisal business for 20 years. For the next 10 years, Bob was an appraiser for the Toms River (NJ) Bank. Starting in 1988, Bob and Lenore lived in Berkeley Heights, NJ and then
in 2010 moved to Henderson (Las Vegas), NV, leaving snowstorms, traffic and state taxes behind. In Henderson, Bob was active in volunteer work with the Community Patrol and the Foundation Assisting Seniors for several years. He enjoyed going out to dinner with his wife and friends. Bob was a passionate dog-lover, owning a succession of beloved pet dogs throughout his life.
Bob is survived by his wife of 51 ½ years, Lenore; brother Don and wife Karen of Cranberry Township, PA; niece Corrie Harold (nee Nusser) and her husband Greg and children Tyler and Eliot; and niece Jessica Nusser and her daughter Ada. Bob was Godfather to Corrie as well as to Michelle O’Neal (nee Lee), Laura Sohl (nee Lee), and Christopher Lee.
A memorial service honoring Bob will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary on June 9th, at 10:00 AM. Placement will follow at 11:00 AM at Palm Eastern Cemetery. A reception will also be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
