

Robert Lee Pullen was born on January 24, 1941 in Bell City, Missouri, to Elder J.C. Pullen Jr. and Mother Elnora Pullen. He was the second oldest of 9 children. He was educated in Bell City, MO and was a proud Veteran of the United States Army.

On April 15, 1972, Robert married the love of his life, Alice Pullen. Together they created a beautiful foundation in Harvey, IL and raised four sons, Robert Lee Jr., Eric, Keith, and Andre. Robert was employed with Gillespie Ford in Gary, Indiana for over 28 years. Upon his retirement, Alice and Robert relocated to Las Vegas, NV in 2001.
Robert loved his Lord and Savior and was saved at an early age. He continued in his faith as Deacon Pullen, and faithfully served at High Praise Family Worship Ministry, in Las Vegas, under the leadership and guidance of Pastor Kenneth E. Hollingsworth.
Robert was loved by all and enjoyed telling jokes, tall tales, and stories to anyone who would listen. He enjoyed gatherings with family and friends, especially our annual Thanksgiving dinner. He loved grilling, going out on his boat, and fishing. Robert was a proud member of the South Side Rod and Reel Club.
Robert made his transition on Monday, July 8, 2019 in Las Vegas, NV. He was proceeded in death by his father Elder Josephus Pullen Jr., his mother Elnora Pullen, his sister, Jerlene King, and brother Rufus Pullen.
Robert leaves behind a great legacy to be cherished by his devoted and loving wife Alice, four sons, Robert Jr., Eric, Keith, and Andre, three loving daughter in laws, Jacqueline (Robert Jr.), Tawanda (Eric), and Berri (Keith); 7 grandchildren, Eric Jr., Maya Rose, Marissa Lee, Kyrah Jean, Sydney Lisa, Mason Paul, and Mariah Valentina; 6 remaining brothers and sisters, Edgar, Josephus III, Theodore, Calvin, Minnie Morrow, and Opal(Al) Johnson; Florence Terry Pullen(first wife and mother of Robert Jr.) and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and numerous close friends, which are too many to name but are dearly loved.
