Bob was born on November 11, 1945 in Mankato, MN to John and Shirley Sisterman. He grew up in Wausau, WI where he created many memories, including school shenanigans with his twin brother, Richard. In 1969, Bob married Janice Beauregard, and they had 3 children, Kimberly, Pamela, and Patricia. Bob served 25 years in the USAF as an inspirational leader with integrity and compassion, selflessly serving his country through critical times with strength and a clear vision. In 1990, he retired from the USAF in Las Vegas and channeled his expertise into another career where he served as a leader, administrator, mentor, and role model.
Bob was highly active throughout his life. From racquetball to golf, Bob loved to participate in sports. Although he was a bench warmer in basketball, he was the most enthusiastic bench warmer ever, always motivating and encouraging his teammates. He was truly a team player in all aspects of his life.
Bob loved his family and would make it a point to tell them that he loved and appreciated them as often as possible, sometimes with a hug, but most frequently with an amusing phone call or text, no matter the time of day, or night. If you had time to sit and rap, he loved to share an entertaining story.
Bob was a sweet guy! His love language included Snickers, Diet Coke, shakes, cookies, orange slices and popcorn.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Sisterman; daughters: Kimberly Finke (Nate), Pamela Peterson (Bob), and Patricia Sisterman (Dennis); grandchildren: Tyler Echeverria, Robert Echeverria, Tayler Peterson, Jessica Peterson, and Erin Peterson; great grandson, Landon Peterson; siblings: Roger Sisterman (Linda), Richard Sisterman (Bob’s twin), Mike Sisterman (Jayne) and Mary Kempf (Tom); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob “I feel great” Sisterman will be remembered as a “favorite”. His warmth, wisdom, and the joy he brought to every gathering will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A Life Well Lived
A life well lived is a precious gift, of hope and strength and grace, from someone who has made our world a brighter, better place. It’s filled with moments, sweet and sad with smiles and sometimes tears, with friendships formed and good times shared, and laughter through the years. A life well lived is a legacy, of joy and pride and pleasure, a living, lasting memory our grateful hearts will treasure. -Author Unknown
