Robin Sloane-Henderson was born on Flag Day, June 14, 1944 and peacefully left us on October 14, 2014 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Robin was a table games dealer starting as a day-one employee of the new Maxim Hotel and Casino. She worked there for 23 years, leaving for New York, New York just before the Maxim closed, where she worked for another 13 years before she retired. She made many friends with fellow dealers and customers over these many years. Robin was born to her parents Nettie Landers (Marco) and Gene Landers. She was preceded in death by her parents Nettie Marco and Gene Landers; and her stepfather William Marco. Robin is survived by her loving husband Martin Henderson; her daughter Sydney Sloane; her son Scott Sloane; and her brother Les Landers of Fernley, Nevada. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 pm at Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery on 7600 S. Eastern Avenue.
