Roger was born in St. Marys, PA on December 4, 1954 to Harry William Wilson Jr. and Jill Joyce Grolemund. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Rebecca Wilson; their sons David (Danielle), Jason (Mark), Joseph (Deanne) Wilson; grandchildren Kayla, Matthew, and Logan; and siblings Jerry Grolemund (Shannon), their children Kadyn and Zander and Bonnie Steel and her children Jeff, Erin, Steve, and Angela.
Roger loved his wife and family above everything else. He took great pride in everything he did and worked to provide the best for his family and country.
Roger was proud to serve the United States Air Force in California, Guam, Arizona, Nevada, Ohio, and retiring with honors in Las Vegas, NV as a Master Sergeant. He had the privilege of working on projects such as the Stealth Bomber and providing lifesaving equipment to aircraft for uniformed service members and little green men. Roger also worked at Lockheed Martin (Skunk Works).
He started his second career as a Harness Master for the world renown special effects company ‘Flying by Foy’ where he brought his own family into his work. The Foy family employs his three sons working along side Roger. He loved to create and work with new Ideas as much as he enjoyed the life around and in him.
Roger enjoyed hunting and fishing. Being outdoors on the lake or in the mountains or relaxing on his front deck is where he found his peace. His perfect days were always spent barbequing and being with his family and those he loved.
He will be forever missed and remembered for the good he created and left in the world and beyond.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 12:00 -2: 00 pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm, all at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave Las Vegas, NV 89123.
