Rosemary Murphy Raymond, of Henderson, passed away Sept. 16, 2011, at her home. She was the beloved wife, for almost 50 years, of the late Eugene Arman Raymond, who passed away May 30, 2011. Rosemary was the dear sister of Marie Murphy of Springfield, Mass., and the late Rita Melley Coyne, of Windsor, Conn.; and daughter of the late Dennis and Anna Murphy. She also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Rosemary was born in Springfield, Sept. 19, 1928. She was a graduate of Technical High School and a longtime employee of New England Telephone. Viewing will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20. Vigil will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Viewing will be at Nowak Funeral Home in Indian Orchard, Mass., and a Catholic funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church in Indian Orchard at a later date. Burial will be in the St. Aloyius Cemetery, Indian Orchard, alongside her husband. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be sent to the Dominican Nuns at 1430 Riverdale St. W., Springfield, MA 01089.
