Rosemary “Rosi” Schuster of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2016. She was born July 27, 1928, an only child to William and Rose Thilgen in Mankato, Minnesota. Rosemary graduated from Good Council Academy in 1946 and then attended Mankato State for 2 years. She married the love of her life, Andy, on March 26, 1951. They were married for 63 years, before Andy’s passing on March 8, 2015. Andy & Rosi are the true example of a beautiful marriage. Rosemary worked at Woolworth’s department store in Mankato in the shoe department. She then opened her own shoe store, Gerard’s Comfort Shoes, also in Mankato. The store was sold prior to their moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1977. She worked in the shoe department at Sax Fifth Ave in Las Vegas until her retirement in 1991. Rosemary loved singing, painting and shopping. She is now reunited with her husband Andy and daughter Mary. Her happy memories will live forever in the hearts of her sons, William (Linda) Schuster and Robert (Amber) Schuster. Grandchildren, Andrew (Kari) Schuster, Amy (Dustin) Kulseth, Adam Schuster, Ashley (Jeff) Crossland and Danny Schuster. Great-grandchildren, Allie and William Schuster, Kapri and Kindra Kulseth & Cooper and Ethan Crossland. Services will be held on Monday, October 24 at 1:20pm at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.
