In 1972, Roy graduated from Valley High School in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Roy started in the flooring industry right out of high school working from the ground up. He became one of the youngest licensed contractors in the state. Eventually, we opened up our first retail store in Henderson in 1989, and purchased Cloud Carpet in 1993.
Roy loved baseball and coached both Little League and High School.
Roy is survived by his wife Gayle; grandson Logan; and his sister Malinda.
A visitation for Roy will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 9, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
