Delores, my deepest sympathies to you and all the Molina family.  The last time I spoke to Ruben was at Mercy Molina's funeral service.  He was the same Ruben I always knew  kind and a bit on the quiet side.  At that time he didn't recognize me since it has been years since we have seen one another.  I asked where I could get a cold drink and sure enough he made sure I was able to find a one.  I did not know that would be one of the last conversations I would have with Ruben.

Ruben surprised me with these pictures in 2022.  We used to work together in Fairchild for10+ years. I cherish memories of those days. He was a hard working , dedicated engineering tech with attention to details.  I miss him a lot. 😢 hard to believe that he is not among us anymore.

Ruben loved Stan Donuts. I brought the last Dozen to celebrate after he gave me the keys of his home  and saying goodby to his home. He was happy to be close to his grandsons but sad to leave  SJ after 35+ years.

Tita Ruben was the type of person who was always smiling, accommodating, positive attitude, kind, generous, patient, and makes sure you feel at home. In behalf of the Mapalo family, we thank you and appreciate everything you’ve done for us. You will be missed. We love you Tito Ruben!

I have such precious childhood memories of Uncle Ruben. I wish I could find all the pictures and videos from when we were kids... I know we'll miss him so much. Especially the cousins who look at Uncle Ruben like another father-figure, always cracking jokes. I have this funny memory of him paying Darryl and my brother, TJ, in coins to pluck white hairs from his head. ;)

To Uncle Ruben in heaven... Thank you for everything. Most especially for taking me in after I graduated college and moved to San Jose. With love, please say HI to Grandma, Lolo, Aunty Let, Uncle Pepe, and Kuya Kenneth for me.

I think this was during Uncle Ruben's last visit to the Philippines, at Tita Cristy's house.

This is the last picture taken with kuya Ruben when they visited relatives in San Jose.  We had our lunch in Valley Fair.  It was a very joyous moment.  Now we were suddened since he left us for good.  We just want to express our sympathy and prayers to his family. May the Lord Almighty bless and welcome him in heaven. May he rest in peace. The three of us spent the whole day together. We went to church. We watched football, 49ers of course. We shared meals at Pink Duck just as you recommended. Even at 11:30 pm that day you still didn't want to bring our time together to an end. Little did we know that it'd be our last. No words can describe how glad I am to have spent the entire day sharing the little things we enjoyed so much with you, and I had a wonderful time.

Words may not be enough to console a grieving heart for the loss of your beloved husband. May your beautiful memories together bring back smile to you one day soon.
