Ruben Juan Ugale Sevilleja was born on October 20, 1959, in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Philippines to Leonardo and Quirina Sevilleja. He spent his adolescent years growing up in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, and moved back to Magsingal to attend high school. Upon graduating with high honors, Ruben transitioned into a vocational school in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, where he became an accomplished tailor.
Ruben proposed to the love of his life, Virgie, and they got married in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 18, 1983. After a few years they moved and started their life together in Carson, California and then after two years, moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to start a family.
Until his death on May 18, 2012, Ruben never stopped exemplifying the best qualities of any man. He led by example and his legacy will live on through his two young men who watched their hero and modeled themselves after his incredible work ethic, loving personality, and selflessness.
