He was born to Berardino and Angela Spinosa née Marcantonio in Brooklyn, New York, December 14, 1924. He was "the baby" to his five siblings Felix, Armand, Alfred, Mario and Stella.
Rudy enlisted in the Navy out of high school to join his four brothers serving in WWII. He came to Las Vegas in the 1950's where he worked in the casino business as a bartender then a beverage manager up until the age of 85. He loved getting up early, playing golf, watching football and going to his favorite casino.
A devoted single father and loving brother Rudy is survived by daughter Stephanie Spinosa, and sister Stella Chace.
A memorial service will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary, Monday March 18, 2013 at 2 PM
There will be a private burial at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A mass has been said on the east coast by Rudy's great nephew Jesuit Paul Mariani.
In lieu of flowers it is asked donations be made to the Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation.
