Ruth L. Lormand, 77, passed away on December 25, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on July 26, 1946 in Abbeville, Louisiana to Dewitte Morgan Sr. and Marguerite Morgan (née Dyson).
Ruth was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She worked as a Director of Medical Records at both Sunrise and Southern Hills Hospitals where she made many close friendships. She was a very caring and loving coworker and friend.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Joseph Lormand; her sisters, Eloise Vaughan of Corpus Christi, Texas and Virginia Morvant of Stephenville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Joey Lormand; her sisters, Lottie Morgan Dunn, Katherine Morgan Odgers, and Nita Morgan Hawkins; and her brother, Dewitte Morgan Jr.
Ruth will be truly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
