Ryan G. Casto

Ryan George Casto, 14, a native of Las Vegas, passed away on October 31, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family after a bravely fought battle against brain cancer. He was born on November 28, 2001, at Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ryan was always smiling. His life was full of love from his family and friends. Ryan attended the International Christian Academy from kindergarten to the 8th grade. He dreamt to be an Art Teacher. His passion was drawing, painting and doodling. His favorite subject in school was math. Ryan enjoyed his school. He made a lot of classmates and teachers laugh. He knew how to put a smile on anyone’s face. Ryan endured a courageous battle of brain cancer. Through his treatments, Ryan continued to smile. He was an inspiration to us all. Ryan is survived by his parents Robert and Angela; sister Kayla; paternal grandparents; and extended family. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Light of the World Childhood Cancer Foundation or the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00pm; a funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00am.
