She was born in Buffalo, New York on September 18, 1940 to Edward and Alice Ansbrow. She married Bob Gatewood on September 20, 1965.
Sally worked several years in banking and other financing areas. For the past 25 years, she was co-owner of a bodyguard and security guard company in Las Vegas.
She gave birth to her daughter, Dian, in 1970 and to her son, Scott, in 1972. Sally is survived by her husband, two children, a son- and daughter-in-law, and three granddaughters.
Sally was a very gentle, friendly person who had very many friends when she passed on. In the 54 years she was married to Bob, he and others cannot recall anyone who disliked her.
Sally enjoyed several active sports including water skiing, tai chi, bowling, and lots of long walks. She and her husband traveled extensively. She shared a lifetime of love and laughter and was surrounded always by friends and family.
A Celebration of Life for Sally will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 10:00am. You are welcomed to arrive a little earlier, around 9:30am, at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A reception to follow.
