WHY DID THEY PUT HIM IN CHINSE AREA AND NOT NEXT TO HIS FAMILY

Our favorite memories of Sy were always out at Lake Mead. He would always want to be out on the boat and eager to try any kind of water sports we had to offer. I remember teaching him how to water ski and he refused to give up out in the water for hours on end. When he finally did stand up we were all applauding for him and he did some crazy squat that had us all cracking. Same with the wakeboard, anytime we had Sy out he would be trying the craziest things on that board and having a blast. And don’t even get me started with him and the tube. Whether we’d have the twins and him out or even just Sy he would go on the tube with whoever had the guts to go and do the crazy turns and doughnuts he’d be asking for. We had so much fun those days on the lake doing tube wars and just being out on the water. He will always be a welcomed and remembered passenger of the Norris boat

I met Sy right around the time he got into the hall.  He was 17 years old but held himself like he was 20.  You could just feel the confidence coming off of him, and that’s exactly what you want in a rigger.  He knew that he was good, and I could see that he was too.  I ended up as lead rigger of a gs, and I am not really a rigger.  Luckily I had Sy, Sophia, and Gianna to help me.  I was lucky to have all of there help, and Sy knocked it out of the park hanging the most motors in the room by far.  He was a really cool guy, we ended up racing our scooters back to the parking garage and of course he smoked me.  I didn’t work with him as much as I wanted to, but that’s only because he was so talented that I couldn’t get a hold of him.  I went to his service and it was wonderful to see just how many lives he was able to impact.  I’m sad that he’s not with us, but he left a mark on me, and I will remember him

I remember the first time I was able to meet Sy. His eyes struck me first. They were a glimpse into his sweet soul.  Beautiful is the only way to describe them. Then, his sweet, easy going personality lit up the room. When my son Cooper met Sy he was immediately drawn to him and loved him. It was so cute. Sy is truly special. Even though time and distance most often stood in the way, I was thankful for the time I had with him. His short time on this Earth made a great impact. Our family was blessed the day he made his entrance in this world.

My best memory of Sy is when he took me for my first ride on the razor. He kept asking me if I was okay ?? He took me out in desert and as we round a corner there was a huge boat just sitting out there. We had a good laugh as to how a boat got that far out there. He always greeted me with his infectious smile and a hey 
Mama  Paula and he never forgot to tell me he loved me when he left. Thank you for being such a wonderful brother to Lloyd. You will be missed immensely and never forgotten. Love you Sy ... till we meet again honey

Every time I start to write something I am frozen with disbelief. This doesn’t seem like it is real. Like we are going to wake up tomorrow and it is all going to go away.  I can see your smile as you pull up to my house to pick Reese up and hear your voice in my head as you walk through the front door saying hello.   Your carefree disposition could lighten any mood. Like when I couldn’t get the hoses off the washer so you went and got tools from your house and figured it out while I was about to throw them out the window or when we were going to Phoenix and the rental car company canceled our mini van, you said we will make it work and 5 big boys squeezed into the Dodge Dart.   You were also great at encouraging my crazy like when we saved a tarantula from my driveway and relocated it to the desert. Thank you for being there for Reese when he needed you and thank you for watching over our families from heaven. One day we will all meet again but until then please be their guardian angel and keep your friends safe.  Love you lots.
