Sheldon Sbarra, 86, a retired insurance agent, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. He was born on June 18, 1936 and had been a resident of Southern Nevada since 1964. Sheldon was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Roslyn; and his sister, Lenora Newman. He is survived by his son, Alan Sbarra; daughter, Donna Sbarra; brother-in-law, Lawrence Newman; brother and sister-in-law, Ardwin and Beverly Block; and sister-in-law Selma Levine.
A funeral service for Sheldon will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 10:00 am at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas, Nevada 89120. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at 11:00 am at Palm Valley View Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123.
The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Trees for Israel through the National Jewish Fund or to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
