Sherry Muskin

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Herbert Muskin, a World War II veteran, who passed away at age 101 in 2023; and her daughter May.

A native of Long Beach, New York, Sherry built a successful career as an interior designer, bringing beauty and style to countless homes throughout her lifetime. In 2003, she embarked on a new chapter, relocating to Las Vegas, where she spent her remaining years. Known for her distinctive personal style and flashy attire, including her signature sparkly hats, she brought color and joy wherever she went. She had a particular fondness for Shih Tzu Dogs, who were constant companions throughout her life.

Sherry leaves behind a loving family, including her sons Drew (Nancy) and Jon (Melissa). She was a devoted grandmother to Eric (Mia), Daniel, Lexi, and Madison, and had the joy of becoming a great-grandmother to JoJo, Eric and Mia's child. Her family will remember her not only for her bold fashion choices but for the warmth and creativity she brought to every room she entered, both professionally and personally. Her creative spirit, love of design, and flair for the dramatic will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A graveside ceremony will be held at 1:30PM on February 16, 2025 at New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Ave, Babylon, NY 11704. Family and friends are requested to meet at the Information House at the circle driveway (Note: this is where the bathrooms are). Guests will be gathering for lunch after the service. Details will be provided during the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to any charitable organization supporting U.S. veterans, in honor of her late husband's service.
