I will always remember Sid's sly grin, fantastic sense of humor, and the deeply kind person he was to me. IGT is not the same place without him walking the office in some great shoes and a seersucker blazer. I miss him.

I had the privilege of working with Sid on occasion and always admired his vast knowledge and commitment to excellence when working with customers.

I always enjoyed our random run-ins at the office or chats before a call got started. His sense of humor and wit were one of a kind and he will be deeply missed.

To Sid's family and friends: My deepest condolences to you all.  I have worked with Sid daily for the last 2 years.  He brought so much fun and light into my life.  He was always there to listen and help guide me when things got wonky, and, they were often wonky.   I will miss him as a colleague but even more so as a friend.

From his witty and intelligent mind all the way down to his eclectic choice of footwear, Sid was truly one-of-a-kind. I feel very fortunate to have sat next to him in the office, where we got to know each other quite well. He made work more fun, and I always looked forward to coming in on the days I knew he'd be there too. Things just won't be the same without him. His impact on IGT, the products he worked on, and the people he touched will live on as a testament to a wonderful life lived, cut far too short.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Sid, he was truly a genuine delight to be around.  Sid and I worked together for many years at IGT, and he was one of the kindest, warm and intelligent people I ever had the pleasure of working with.  To say he will be missed would be a huge understatement.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Sid's family, whom Sid spoke of frequently with nothing but love in his voice.  We lost a great one who went far too soon.

I worked with Sid on a daily basis, and we did not always agree on everything. :-)  But, regardless of the scenario Sid's flexibility and open-mindedness allowed us to work through things together. Sid was a great teammate and colleague at IGT. Always ready to help and also teach. His vast knowledge of our games and hardware/software is a tremendous addition at our many projects and at the shop, when mentoring new team members. Always willing to help and make sure I fully understand a solution before leaving any meeting.  He will always make sure to say hello or say how are you first when our paths crossed at the office or at gaming shows.  I will miss that your just an email or a text away my friend. I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Sid. He was a source of positivity and support in the workplace. His presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. My condolences to your family and friends who are grieving Sid. I worked with Sid on his product line and he was such a joy to work with. He never took things seriously. His sense of humor matched mine and I always loved our conversations.  He was always giving me advice on not to take thing too seriously, letting the little things go, and to enjoy life. "There's so much more to life" is what he would tell me.  He wasn't just a colleague to me, he was a friend. 

He is missed terribly and I'm sending my prayers and strength to you all.

Sid and I worked together on many occasions during his Vegas tenure...there was no one I enjoyed seeing in the hallway more than Sid...we always enjoyed tossing barbs/jokes at each other...he was Papa Smurf, I was Grumpy Smurf, at least until I saw Sid for the day and I'd be non-grumpy for hours. Sid had a way of destressing any topic and having meaningful, deep chats about anything.
Sid was truly a unique person, patient, courteous, intelligent and simply a wonderful human being.
My condolences to his family, friends and all those who were blessed to have him in their life.

Please accept my condolences for your family loss. Sid was a good friend to me from the moment he came to work at IGT in Tulsa and remained a friend even after moving to Vegas. He was a joy to be around and we shared many ideas and laughs. I will miss him.
