Silvia Selena Corsaro

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Silvia brought light and purpose into her mother’s life from the very beginning. To the world she was known as Silvia, but to her mother, family, and closest friends, she was lovingly called Selena. She had a creative soul, a compassionate heart, and a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew her.

Silvia proudly attended the Magnet Visual Arts Program at Del Sol Academy of the Performing Arts, where she nurtured her love for creativity. Art was how she expressed her heart and how she saw the world. She was a straight-A honor student who took pride in her education and always strived to do her best. She also loved to dance, moving with joy and passion.

In 2025, Silvia proudly became a cheerleader, an accomplishment that reflected her determination, school spirit, and vibrant personality. She was determined to achieve her goals and worked hard for the things she cared about. Once she set her heart on something, she pursued it with courage and dedication.

Silvia loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and enjoyed the simple things in life—trips to get ice cream and smoothies, listening to music, and watching purple sunsets. Those small moments brought her joy and reflected the gentle, loving spirit she shared with others.

Silvia was also a devoted member of her church, Manantial de Vida, where she found community, faith, and joy.

She is survived by her devoted mother, Cecelia; her loving sister, Sky; and her father, Darren. She is also survived by extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory. Though her time here was far too short, her life was filled with creativity, strength, faith, and love.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, March 15 at 4:00 PM at Manantial de Vida Church in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Selena’s light will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her family will remember her every time the sky turns purple at sunset. 💜
