

U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Stanley T. Masters, 51, passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving family Sunday, October 28, 2012. Stan was born April 24, 1961, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and was a 12-year resident of Henderson.
Stan graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1983 and served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force for 29 years. Stan was a veteran of Desert Storm.
Stan is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Teresa; sons, Cole, Tye and Chantz; daughter, Drew; his parents, Thois and Sylvia Masters of Mountain City, Georgia; brothers, Steve Masters of Black Mountain, North Carolina, Tony Masters (wife, Jenny) of Ashland, Virginia, and Tim Masters (wife, Debbie) of Marietta, Georgia; in-laws, Mucio A. and Susie Diaz of Henderson; sisters-in-law, Margo Wiblitzhouser (husband, Terry) of Mercer Island, Washington, Brenda May (husband, Rick) of Palmdale, California, and Marcella Le Van (husband, Bob) of Henderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Stan was an amazing husband, father, son, brother and uncle and will remain eternally in the hearts of his family.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 5, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Parkway, Henderson.
The family asks in lieu of flowers and gifts that donations can be made to Stan's four children in care of his eldest son, Cole Masters.
