I'm so saddened to hear of Stephanie's passing. I worked with her for a short time at Acturus in Connecticut years ago and I always remember what a kind and friendly person she was. My deepest condolences to the Hinden family.

I am so shocked & saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Stephanie. I knew her since she was a sweet, beautiful, friendly baby. Her parents are dear friends of mine & my heart breaks for them. May her memory be a blessing for them & the rest of their family. Hope their good memories will ease their pain now & for years to come.

I am heartbroken at the loss of my dear friend Stephanie. I met Stephanie at disc when she asked me to work on Atlas who had a neck issue. We shared many weekends at her house in Phoenix and she came to visit me in Borrego Springs. We talked cattle’s dogs, dog sporting events , dog showing and dog competitions. We always went out for sushi or Pollo Loco to have take out. We watched Rue Paul and the runway and really enjoyed our time together. I went with her to buy a bicycle so she could exercise Flint her cattle dog male puppy. I just can’t believe she’s gone.
My condolences go to the family for the  sudden and untimely loss of  Stephanie. Prayers are with you as you slowly heal.

What the heck!  This is just crazy!  Gone!  No more "best day ever!", or "doggy Disneyland".  The Three Amiga girls (Reyna, Pebbs and Luna) playing and swimming, trying to get toys from Luna.  Wondrful memories.  Thank you!  Sending family and all her friends (two or four feet) hugs.

Stephanie - Cayden and I are heartbroken over your early departure from this world.  We will forever remember your kindness, your genuine friendship, and your excitement working with our dogs together.  Your legacy will be carried on in the hearts of all of those who are left behind.

It has been a week since I received the stunning and devastating news of Stephanie’s passing. It still has not fully registered. Stephanie was a beautiful soul.  Smart, funny, talented. She was beautiful inside and out; a shining star that burned out too soon. She is and will continue to be sorely missed. Rest well Stephanie ❤️.

We wish to honor and remember Stephanie, a remarkable soul whose light shone brightly in our lives, especially around the table where dice rolled, stories unfolded, and laughter echoed. Stephanie was more than a friend—she was a storyteller, a hero, a beacon of joy in our Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, and a cherished part of our lives.

To sit at the D&D table with Stephanie was to embark on a grand adventure. Whether she was a cunning ranger or a sly rogue, Stephanie brought every character to life with her wit, creativity, and infectious enthusiasm. Her characters weren’t just stats on a sheet—they were vibrant, flawed, and unforgettable, much like Stephanie herself. She had a knack for turning a simple roll of the dice into a moment of triumph or hilarity, weaving stories that we’ll recount for years to come.

Beyond the table, Stephanie carried that same adventurous spirit into her life. She faced challenges with the courage of a paladin and the heart of a bard, always ready with a kind word, a clever quip, or a hug that felt like a critical hit to any bad day. She made the world brighter, bolder, and more magical, just by being herself.

As we say goodbye to Stephanie, let’s not mourn the end of her story but celebrate the epic campaign she lived. Let’s honor her by rolling the dice, telling her tales, and keeping her spirit alive in every game we play. Stephanie, you were our friend, our hero, and beloved. Your character sheet may be tucked away, but your legend will live on in every nat 20, every failed save, and every moment of joy we share around the table.

Rest well, our dear adventurer. May you find endless campaigns in the great beyond, with perfect rolls and a party as wonderful as you made ours.

Stephanie, it was such a shock to hear of your passing.  We will miss you on Friday Dungeons and Dragon nights, you brought Vadania to life, a rugged Ranger quick with her bow and her wit.  The adventure just won't be the same without you.  I'll miss our Talisman gaming adventures, that game is harsh and I often complained loudly, but your bubbly personality and laughter always made it better.  And if I ever do restart Pokemon, I know it will bring back the Wednesday night memories of raiding and getting some dinner together with Dave and Eric.

Covid adventures with you and Lena were a lifeline for me.  Either hanging out at my pool or making trips where we could, just to get out in the world.  We had a fun trip to Utah, when you were looking at Cockers, and the photo I've attached is from that time. Stephanie took many awesome pictures that trip and I treasure the ones she took of Digi.  I found it amusing that the dogs had all gathered around her while she was adjusting the camera, I couldn't help but take this one.  You, Lena and I had had a ton of fun during "lockdown" and you really helped save my sanity and for that it made you a friend forever.

To the Hinden family you have our deepest sympathies on this sudden and unexpected loss.  Stephanie touched many hearts, and left us all a little brighter for it.

To the Hinden family:  My daughter, Lynda Weiss , and I, her mother, Barbara Weiss, send our deepest condolences on the passing of Stephanie.  Lynda and Stephanie were friends when you lived in Seaford, NY.  They met when they were in elementary school together.
Stephanie was always welcome in our home.  She was funny, respectful and kind.  She liked to help us decorate our Christmas tree !
 Prayers for you as you go through this difficult journey of grief.  She is at peace and making other souls laugh on the other side, as she did on this side.

Steph was a beloved Gal Pal of Phoenix. We enjoyed our last marathon brunch together August 16, 2025.  I will always cherish that memory -  and Stephanie's last bear hug for me as she and the girls set off for a sale at their favorite thrift store.

This news just got to me. Stephanie and I were campers together at SLC and I was friends with her brother. This is heartbreaking! Thinking of the family during this time!

A gentle sole that loved her dogs, friends and family. I remember her w her first ACD . She worked so hard to learn the ropes, was first to give a helping hand ringside  and so appreciative of every win in the ring for herself and her friends.
