Steven Jay Kercher

Steven Jay Kercher, 66, of Anderson, Ca was picked up by the Mothership and taken back to Zoltar on September 29, 2017 in Las Vegas, NV (no not near Area 51) after a short battle with liver cancer. He joined his Earthly Family: Father Paul (husband to Barbara Kercher), Mother Dorthy (wife to Emmett Rainy), older brother Jeff (husband to DeEtte Kercher), older sister Jackie, and youngest brother Kevin (husband to Dana Kercher).

He was an avid hiker, bicycle rider, kayaker and loved music of all kinds. He loved to laugh and tell stories (cause he watched shows ya know). He loved to travel; it didn’t matter where as long as it was somewhere new. He loved spending time with his 3 children, 7 grandchildren and great granddaughter.

He is survived and will be truly missed by youngest sister Susie Bromley (wife to Jim Bromley), Daughter Christina Vigil (wife to Chris Vigil), Son Nathan Kercher (husband to Sheila Kercher), Son Ryan Kercher (husband to Maria Ferreira Kercher), Grandchildren Tasheena Reinhardt, Daniel Reinhardt, Tristin Davis, Ashley Kercher, Tanner Kercher, Jacob Kercher and Great granddaughter Adelina Smith. Also, numerous nieces and nephews Shawn Bromely, Leon Bromely, Jeramy Bromely, Jenealle Rabenaldt, Shannon Aiken Kercher, Billy Rabenaldt, Trieste Kercher Phillips, Brendan Kercher, Tiffany Kercher Evans, Kimberly Kercher, Bryan Kercher.

There will not be a funeral, there will be a celebration of life, date TBD, in Northern California. Please do not send flowers, make a donation to one of his favorite charities: Operation Smile or St Jude Children’s Hospital.
