He was born on February 28, 1964 to Joe Willie and Queen Gibson in West Point, MS. He was educated in the St. Louis public schools and was raised in Northern Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
Stewart leaves to cherish his loving memory his three sisters, Mary Helen Wilson (Eddie) of Prairie, MS; Betty Gibson of Henderson, NV; Sandra Harrison (BeaJaye) of Henderson, NV; and Frances Renee Moore of St. Louis, MO; an aunt, an uncle, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
One response that we will always remind us how simple Stewart was “No I am not a Christian I am a Baptist”.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to The Arc Foundation in Stewart’s name.
A visitation service is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6th, at Palm Mortuary Eastern.
So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8
