Sue De Berardinis

Roberta Sue (Mann) DeBerardinis passed away on December 30, 2023. To her family and friends she was known as "Sue". She was 84 years old. Sue was born in 1939 in Maryville, Missouri, to Robert and Dorothy Mann. She and her family moved to Arizona in October of 1953. She graduated from Marana High School in 1957 and then attended Business College. Sue worked mostly in the capacity of an administrative assistant, including at the Stardust Hotel. She worked in the Facility Division Maintenance Dept Clark County School District, on East Flamingo Road where she retired in January 1998.

Sue married Carl (Dee) DeBerardinis in October 1986. They enjoyed going boating on the lake and traveling to San Diego, especially Old Town and Seaport Village. Family was always very important to them and Sue continued this after Dee passed in 2014. She always made sure they had what they needed, without question.

Sue was a strong supporter of the military and made several charitable contributions to military organizations, research organizations such as kidney disease, Macular Degeneration, and heart disease. St. Jude's was also a favorite.

Her parents, Robert and Dorothy Mann, her loving husband, Dee, and her stepson Gino DeBerardinis preceded Sue in death. Sue is survived by her brother, Dale Mann; sister, Judy (Philip) Nelson; nephew, Eric (Stacie) Nelson and their children, Luca and Carl; niece, Staci (Steve) Zettel and her sons, Jakob and Ryan Anderson; cousin, Norma Wilson; stepdaughter, Carla (Larry) Roden; stepson, Tim (Dawn) DeBerardinis; grandson, Kyle (Jessica) DeBerardinis; granddaughter, Tess (Andrew) King; great-granddaughter, Phoebe King; great-grandson, Marco King; and nephew Steve DeBerardinis.

Funeral service to honor Sue will take place at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
