Sydelle Mendelson

Sydelle was born on June 16, 1924, in the Bronx, New York, Sydelle lived an extraordinary 102 years, witnessing generations of change and leaving behind a family legacy that will continue for years to come.Throughout her working years, Sydelle served as an Administrative Assistant at a Veterans Affairs (VA) Hospital, where she dedicated herself to supporting those who had served our country. Her greatest legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by her two daughters, Regina Beckerman and Denise Burgueno; three grandchildren, Kendra Langer, Aaron Beckerman, and Nick Ortiz; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Sydelle's life spanned more than a century, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of the many generations of family who were blessed to have her in their lives. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on through the family she leaves behind. A funeral service honoring Sydelle's life will be held at 10:40 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, Nevada. May she rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
