She graduated from UNLV with a Masters of Education, and remained a Rebel fan. She enjoyed going to sports events of her grandchildren, playing cards with friends, and country western dancing.
She is survived by two children: son Skip and his wife Cheryl; daughter DeLynne and her husband Kevin; grandchildren: Courtney, Jordon, Chandler, Jacob, and Amanda; and three great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Kevin, and Bron.
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00am at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1730 N. Pecos Road with a reception to follow.
She will be laid to rest at the Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada with her late beloved husband Robert P. Blanchard.
She was loved by family and friends who will miss her and hold her in their hearts.
