Theresa's passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of her family, friends, coworkers, and the many lives she touched through her kindness, humor, and compassion.
Theresa was preceded in death by her father, Larry Stone, whom she loved dearly.
A devoted registered nurse, Theresa dedicated her life to caring for others. Nursing was more than a profession to her — it was who she was. She had a rare gift for making people feel seen, comforted, and loved during their most difficult moments. Her compassion extended far beyond the hospital walls, as she was always the first to help anyone in need, offering support, encouragement, and generosity without hesitation.
Theresa was also one of the funniest people you could ever know. She could make anyone laugh and somehow made every gathering, holiday, and ordinary moment better simply by being there. She was full of life, fun to be around, and the kind of person people naturally gravitated toward. She believed in people wholeheartedly and had a way of making everyone around her feel capable, loved, and important. Known as the biggest giver, Theresa loved deeply and cared endlessly. Her laughter, warmth, strength, and selflessness will never be forgotten.
She leaves behind her loving mother Angela Berkowitz, stepfather Art Berkowitz, sister Tanya Stone Yu, brother-in-law Paul Yu, her beloved niece Ava Yu and nephew Evan Yu and three wonderful fur babies, whom she loved so much. She is also survived by countless friends, coworkers, and loved ones whose lives were forever changed by knowing her.
She is loved by so many and will be profoundly missed every single day. Though her time here was far too short, the impact Theresa made on the lives of others will live on forever.
A celebration of Theresa’s life will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, May 29, 2026, at King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89120. Her family asks that those who knew and loved her remember her by showing kindness to others, just as she did every day of her life. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
