Thomas McKinley Bradley

Thomas McKinley Bradley, lovingly known as Tom, passed away on June 13, 2026, at the age of 84. He leaves behind a legacy built on hard work, adventure, dedication to family, and a life lived to the fullest.

Tom was born on September 19, 1941, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, to Ella Catherine Bradley and Daniel Hunter Bradley Sr. He spent his formative years in Pennsylvania and graduated from Bethel Park High School in 1959.

In April 1960, Tom proudly enlisted in the United States Navy, serving with the Seabees. His military service instilled in him the values of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork that would guide him throughout his life.

In 1968, Tom moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he began working as a Credit Manager for Southwest Gas. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic, Tom and his brother, Dan, opened their first glass and window company in 1973. What began as a family venture grew into a successful business that served the Las Vegas community for more than five decades. Tom remained actively involved until his retirement in 2025.

Beyond his business accomplishments, Tom was a passionate competitor and motorsports enthusiast whose racing achievements became a defining part of his life. In the early 1970s, he began competing in offshore powerboat racing, embracing the challenge, excitement, and camaraderie of the sport. His love of racing continued to grow, leading him to begin an off-road racing career in 1978 when he entered his first Baja 1000.

Over the next four decades, Tom became a respected figure in desert racing. He competed throughout Baja California and across the Southwest, earning multiple championships and countless memories along the way. Known for his determination, toughness, and sportsmanship, Tom embraced the challenges of the desert and developed lifelong friendships within the racing community. His racing career reflected the adventurous spirit that defined his life. After many decades of competition, Tom retired from off-road racing in 2018, leaving behind a remarkable legacy in the sport he loved.

One of the greatest blessings of Tom's life was meeting Blanca in La Paz, Mexico, in September 1998. Their relationship grew from friendship into a deep and enduring love. On December 22, 2005, Tom and Blanca were married in Las Vegas, Nevada, beginning a partnership filled with love, adventure, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Together they built their own little paradise in La Paz, where they shared countless cherished memories and formed lasting friendships. Their years together were filled with happiness, travel, and the love of family and friends in both the United States and Mexico.

While Tom was proud of his professional and racing accomplishments, his greatest joy came from his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His wisdom, humor, generosity, and unwavering support enriched the lives of all who knew him. He took great pride in the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren and treasured every opportunity to spend time with those he loved.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Blanca Bradley; his children, Kitty (Roger) Derrick and Tommy (Kelly) Bradley; his daughter, Denisse (Carlos) Manzano; and his son, Omar Gonzalez Herrera. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Briana Turner, Derek Bradley, Alejandro Gonzalez Herrera, Blanca Gonzalez Garcia, Omar Gonzalez Garcia, Carlos Manzano, and Natalia Manzano; his great-grandchildren, Daisley Bradley and Teagan and Tennessee Turner; his brother, Dan (Joy) Bradley; his sister, Kitty Wigginton; and his many cherished nieces and nephews throughout the United States and Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ella Catherine Bradley and Daniel Hunter Bradley Sr., and by his sisters, Jo-Ella Webb, Susan Prophet, Carol Wheeler, and Joyce Bradley.

Tom will be remembered for his strength of character, entrepreneurial vision, competitive spirit, and steadfast devotion to his family. Whether building a business, racing across the waters and deserts he loved, or spending time with those closest to him, Tom approached life with determination, courage, and enthusiasm. He lived boldly, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Palm Mortuary Eastern in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Though he will be deeply missed, Tom's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his legacy one that will endure for generations to come.
