Thomas Stephen Zaborski

Thomas S. Zaborski went home to the lord on October 12, 2026. He was born in East Chicago, Indiana on June 6, 1949. He passed away in his home in Las Vegas, Nevada in the care of his caregivers. He was formerly from Calumet City, IL and Buffalo, Indiance. He graduated from Thornton Fractional North High School in Calumet City, IL with the class of 1967. He then went to work at the Inland Steel Company in East Chicago, Indiana and was also a union representative.

After his motor vehicle accident in which he was injured by a semi, he became a paraplegic. he married Joan Chant on February 13, 1969. He and Joan has one daughter Marjorie Zaborski Tripp (Thomas).

He preceded in death by his father Stephen Zaborski and his mother Julia (Gajda) Zaborski, his wife Joan Chant. Surviving grandchildren, Isaac, Nora, and Lilly, his sister Karen (Zaborski) Filter (John), nephew Ryan O'Connor and niece Lauren O'Connor Locke, and many cousins. Tom was cared for by many caregivers since his accident. The family would like to think Cora, Gigi, Betty, Rose, and Sandra. His family is grateful for their care.
