Thurston Lee Johnson, born November 20th, 1934.

August 23rd, 2010 he went home to be with the Lord.

Thurston was born to Pauline ( Johnson) Seals, in Far Rockaway, New York.

He married Gloria Don Scott on June 1st. 1968 and they were blessed

with two daughters; Georgia Desiree and Gwyneth Laetitia. He was also the

proud grandfather of four grandchildren; Ginger, Shavon, Simone and Cole.

A career Serviceman, he spent two tours in Vietnam and retired at the rank of Master Sergent

after serving 25 years in the United States Air Force. He gave unselfishly to many charities and loved

shopping at discount stores for trinkets and snacks for friends and family. He also enjoyed

spending time with his grandchildren.

Thurston had many friends and was often known as a great story teller and he loved to tell jokes as well.

He was an avid photographer and a gourmet cook.
