Timothy Ferrell Austin

Timothy Ferrell Austin 63 yrs old, born in Indianapolis Indiana on 5/11/1962, currently of Las Vegas NV, passed away in Phoenix AZ 10/1/2025.

He joins an older brother Thomas Keith Austin, niece Barbra Jean Austin, mother Patricia Jordan and Aunt Diana and Uncle Steve Dehan in death.

He was a very big family man. He leaves behind many beloved family members including a wife Myra Austin, a step-son Alan Phifer, two daughters Christina and Erica Austin, two grandchildren Kurt and Lily Leichtentritt. His father, Thomas Ferrell Austin, a younger brother William Scott Austin. Nieces, Angela, Cynthia, and Arianna Austin, Patricia Pahl, and Rebecca Fish. Along with a nephew Rand Revoir. Several cousins and 2nd cousins, and many others that are not forgotten.

Tim was honorably Discharged from the United States Airforce October 23, 1987.

Timothy and Myra were joined in holy matrimony on 10/13/1983.

Timothy was a huge fan of Nascar racing, his all time favorite driver being the late Dale Earnhardt SR. He also enjoyed the NFL his favorite team was the Los Angeles Rams. He enjoyed driving race cars himself in California in the late 1980’s to early 1990’s. He also loved playing with his grandchildren, whether it be board games, the swimming pool or holiday outings with all his family.

Timothy was employed at the Nevada National Security Site from 2013-2024. He loved his job and the people he worked with.

A visitation for Timothy will be held Friday, November 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. Following the visitation will be a graveside with air force honors at 1:20 PM, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Mem, Boulder City, NV 89005. Following the internment at SNVMC friends and family are invited to the family residence for a celebration of life with food and memories of great times with Tim.
