She is survived by her best friend and husband, Marvin; son Wayne and daughter-in-law Stacy; daughter Michelle; granddaughter Nicolle and her husband Adam; grandson Perry; granddaughters Danielle, and Tara and her husband Jared. She had nine great-grandchildren Aston, Lily, Ethan, Hannah, Myles, Lex, Easton, Eva and Kai; two of her five siblings Millie and Les; and sisters-in-law Dorie and Sheryl.
At age sixteen, she met the love of her life and a year later, they were married while Marv was stationed at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
The majority of her working years were in the medical field. She went to school to become an EKG Tech and would assist cardiologists in the OR during surgery.
Toby loved to entertain her family and friends. That was her greatest joy in life. She was an excellent cook, and everyone always wanted to go to her house for dinner parties and holidays.
Her perfect day would be spent at the beach by the water's edge or sitting by the pool and then having hard-shell crabs, clams, shrimp and corn on the cob for dinner.
She loved doing her crossword puzzles. She did not go anywhere without a book in her hand.
Toby would want to be remembered as a wonderful wife, loving mother, grandmother, and an amazing friend. If one of her friends were ill she would be the first to put up a pot of (Jewish penicillin) chicken soup and bring it to them so they would feel better.
She was my best friend and I was her protector for life.
Marvin
