Troy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 18 years, achieving the rank of Tech Sergeant and serving during Desert Storm. He made Las Vegas his home in 1996. Following his military retirement, he dedicated 12 years of service to UMC. In 2002, he married the love of his life, Nancy Acob Owens.
Troy enjoyed smoking cigars and watching sports in his man cave, working on home improvement projects, spending time with family and friends, and traveling with his wife.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Nancy Owens; his sisters, Debra Cannon and Raquel Kennedy; his aunt, Shirley Taylor; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will deeply miss him.
Although Troy's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing. Troy will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
Honorary pallbearers are Nathaniel Owens, Allen Lee, Herb Garett, Byron Elmore, Lowel Negrillo, and Rick Corpuz.
