He was born in Monterey, Mexico on September 1, 1937 to Bernardo and Maria Gonzalez. On October 11, 1959, Victor married the love of his life, Isabel Perez, and their beautiful journey began.
Victor worked as a Prosthetic Technician and created custom hand-crafted prosthetics for individuals with different needs. He was well known in his field and changed the lives of so many people, making them feel whole again. He dedicated his craft to making sure his patients were comfortable and well taken care of with their prosthetic limbs. His patients had so much trust in his abilities that he was able to help this little girl from a small age into becoming a teenager, creating various sets of prosthetic legs for her as she grew. He also was a part of a team that helped design custom metal prosthetics for athletes so they could continue participating in their desired sport. He retired in 2002.
Victor loved to spend time with his family, especially going out to have breakfast on Sundays. He loved to watch westerns and the San Francisco Giants. He definitely enjoyed any chance he could to play the slot machines or sit at the poker table.
He is survived by his wife, Isabel; his children, Elizabeth, Angie and Victor; his grandchildren, Jose, Leticia, Celina, David, Richard, Rosie, Juan, Diego and Maya; his great-grandchildren, Karina, Jasmine, Destiny, Marcella, Matteo, Antonio, Zoe, and Jaxson; his great-great-grandchildren, Falasteen and Hayati; and his siblings, Juan, Laura and Lorenzo.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30am on Friday, May 21, 2021 at St. Thomas More, 130 N Pecos Rd, Henderson, NV 89074. A small reception will be held and announced at the church. Please send flowers to the church the day of the services .
