She was born in that same hospital 84 years prior on October 31, 1935. Back then the hospital was known as Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital.
Virginia was married at the age of 16-years old and remained married for 18 years. She had four children, two sons and two daughters.
After divorcing, Virginia became a full time waitress. Her hard working spirit and kindness allowed her to provide everything she needed for her family and taught them the invaluable lessons of hard work and love of family.
In 1984, Virginia came to have a personal relationship with her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, and from then on, would always say; “I finally found the true love of my life.”
She is survived by her eternally grateful children, Louis, Anna, Raul and Teresa and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, most all of whom live in Las Vegas, and were able to spend many joy filled years together with her.
Though she will be sorely missed by her family; they know she is, at last, looking face-to-face into the eyes of her true love and they couldn’t be happier for her.
