It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Wanda Kay Irby. She was the daughter of Claud North and Thelma North (Lunsford).
Our mother was our first love and taught us what love is truly all about. She devoted her life to her family and always put her daughters first. She raised us with love, respect, and strong values, teaching us to be strong, smart, and resilient women.
She had a special way of showing her love through the things she did for others. She was a wonderful cook and baker, and her home and heart were always filled with love. Above all else, she deeply loved her family and cherished the time she spent with those closest to her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will live on through her family. She is survived by her three daughters, Laura Jackson, Brenda Irby, and Destin Cafarella, as well as her beloved grandchildren and other family members and loved ones who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we are grateful for the love she gave us, the lessons she taught us, and the memories we will carry with us always. She was not only our mother—she was our first love, our teacher, our strength, and a beautiful part of who we are today.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Mom, we will ALWAYS be a part of you, just as you will always be a part of us. Your love lives within us and will remain in our hearts forever.❤️
