Wendie was born March 24, 1949 in Syracuse, NY to John and Virginia Kelleher. She graduated from The Covenant School.
Wendie was a stay at home mom for many years until entering the real estate industry as a broker in the Fayetteville, NY area. She enjoyed tennis, golf and cooking for family and friends, especially around the holidays. She had a very close knit group of friends who she truly enjoyed vacationing and spending time with. In recent years she had the opportunity to travel the world with her sister, opening her eyes to beautiful locations and cultures all across Southeast Asia, Europe, the Caribbean, and North America.
Wendie was a warm and caring mother to her four children. She loved spoiling her eight grandchildren, Jocelyn, Alice, Jonathan, August, Benjamin, Matthew, Jacob, and Ella.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Virginia as well as her best friend and partner in crime, husband Joseph in 2012.
She is survived by her children Lisa, Joseph (Jennifer), John (Karen), Nicholas (Michelle) as well as her sister Nancy Wiggins and her brother Michael Kelleher.
Wendie was an original. She did it her way, always sticking to her guns. She was sassy, but as generous as a person could be, willing to help anyone who ever needed support. She will be missed tremendously.
Per her wishes, there will be no formal services but a small celebration of her life for family and close friends will be held at a later date. Please consider a donation to the American Heart Association in her honor.
