William David Caparelli, age 82, of Las Vegas, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. He was on October 26, 1943 in Boston, MA. and had been a Las Vegas area resident since 2019. Prior to living in Las Vegas, he lived in various parts of California, including Orange County and the Bay Area.
Mr. Caparelli earned his Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and was a pioneer in the semiconductor industry, leading global sales for various engineering companies throughout the world.
He was an avid golfer and snow-skier. He loved to cook and dance.
He was known for his famous Italian meatballs. He was proud of his twenty-six years of sobriety.
He was preceded in death by his son, Alex, and brother, Peter. Survivors include his children: Jaliene Jarratt, Ariana (Preston Jenkins) Caparelli and Alyssa (Jess Molasky) Caparelli; grandchildren: Sierra and Carson Jarratt, Addie and Amelia Zimmerman.
A memorial service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
