On December 11, 2020 our world changed as Bill quietly slipped away after his battle with cancer. He was born May 23, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah to his parents Claude and Nada Dautrich, with whom he has been reunited with. Growing up as the only boy surrounded by sisters he greatly enjoyed fishing and hunting with his father.
As a young man, Bill served in the United States Army. After his service, he graduated from college and went on to become a High School teacher and Coach with Football being his passion. While teaching he continued his own education and obtained his Master's Degree. After retiring as a teacher, Bill became bored and started his final career as a travel agent.
Bill was a loving husband, father, and grandfather with a great sense of humor with a love of little pranks. He was an avid world traveler who was always discovering new places to enjoy with his wife Dorla. He enjoyed photography and growing roses, a trait passed on by his father. He absolutely enjoyed cooking and grilling and said multiple times if he could go back and do it again he would have become a chef.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Dorla; children: Brandee, Kenda (Jim), Jessica (Robert), Joshua, and Heather; grandchildren: Gabriel, Orion, Danika, William, Rachel, Michelle, Kathleen, Landrea, and Athena; sisters: Marilyn, Ann, Susan (Greg), and Rosemary (David) along with their children; and more friends and family too numerous to name.
As said by Dad multiple times, "I LIVED"
