William Robert Seering, 68, of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2009. He was born Jan. 25, 1941, in Neenah, Wis., and was a 16-year resident of Nevada. William was a Federal Government civil service retiree of the U.S. Navy. He served during the Korean War and for over 21 years worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyards. William was an accomplished husband and father. He loved the outdoors, cooking, camping and family adventures. William is survived by his wife, of 42 years, Flory; daughter, Elisa; sons, Robert and James; and two grandchildren, Brenden and Chance. Visitation will be 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, with service following, both at S. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., with a reception following 1:30-3 p.m., at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Community Hall.
