Willis B. Jones Jr.

Willis B. Jones, Jr (Bill), beloved husband and father, returned to his creator on April 6, 2015. Bill was born and raised in San Diego, CA and graduated from Sweetwater High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. Bill attended college at Eastern Washington University and married his wife of 55 years, Carol. Together they raised two children. Bill was a resident of Las Vegas & Henderson since 1962. He retired from GES after serving as the Executive Vice President. Bill was very active in many community organizations including the Host Lions Club, Boy Scouts of America and the Better Business Bureau. Bill was preceded in death by parents Willis B. Jones, Sr. and Annie M. Baird Jones; and sister, Sharon James. Bill is survived by his wife Carol; daughter, Deborah Tomasetti (Butch); son, David M. Jones (Jolene); grandchildren, Danielle Marano (Michael), Ashlee Tomasetti, Chance Jones, Kylie Jones, Ridge Jones, Fallon Jones; great grandson, Gavin Marano; and brother, Frederick Jones. Bill was blessed with a wonderful life, family & many friends. His sources of greatest pride & happiness were his wife, children, grandchildren & great-grandson. They were the light of his life. He enjoyed sunsets, books, watching hummingbirds in his garden and spending the summers at his cabin. Bill will be remembered with great love and admiration by all who knew him. At his request, no services were held. The family asks that donations be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Nevada and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Southern Nevada Chapter.
