Merle James Phelps was born in Towson, MD on November 14, 1968. Son of William and Yoshiko Phelps. Grew up and attended schools in Columbia, MD. Graduated from Towson State University. Previously worked for JFC Int'l, Apple Computers, Ford Credit and Verizon. Died of multiple organ failure on September 11, 2011. He had been hospitalized intermittently due to illness over the past several months. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Now at peace and in a better place. Survived by sister Susanne, mother Yoshiko and brothers William (wife Tsuyako) and Alan (wife Cindi).
