She is survived by four daughters, Shirley Salmons of Nashville, TN; Jerri McCafferty, Melissa Sink, Melinda Hughes all of Lawrenceburg,TN; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Douglas Martin and Lonnie Martin both of Kokomo, IN; three sisters, Nola Pyle, Vada Thompson and Lola Solida all of Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Grooms, her parents, Alva Martin and Doris Martin.
Memorial Service is Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 1 pm at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel with Charles Grisham officiating and visitation from 11 am ~ 1 pm.
