He is survived by four sons, George Clifton and Jeff Clifton both of Lawrenceburg, TN; Tim Clifton of Leoma, TN; Michael Clifton of Chicago, IL; one daughter, Connie Sue Sanders of Clarksville, TN; one step-son, Jeff Chandler of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Collen Jaco of Lawrenceburg, TN; Carmie Miller of Nashville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva Chandler Clifton; one son, Christopher Clifton; parents, Otis and Annie Tidwell Clifton; sister, Bonnie Wall.
Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 2 pm with Larry Murdock officiating and interment in John Lay Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo, Monday, March 9, 2015, 4 ~ 8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations be made to American Cancer Society.
