Deborah Lynn Baptiste, age 67, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Friday, August 15th, 2025 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Debbie was born in Camden, New Jersey on January 25th, 1958 to the late Thomas McCormick and Lois Pearl. Debbie worked for many years as a cashier in New Jersey, before retiring to Lawrenceburg. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time at her home, cooking, and spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren. She was of Christian Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Glenn Baptiste Jr. and Melody Baptiste.
She is survived by her son, Mark Duvall Sr; her grandchildren, Mark Duvall Jr., Anthony Duvall, and Jonathan Duvall, and her, nephew, Gill Cedeno.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Friday, September 5th, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The memorial service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Friday, September 5th, 2025 beginning at 12:00 p.m. Brother Tony Gordy will be officiating.
